Manitoba Human Rights Adjudication Panel Orders Government to Pay out $50,000 in Damages for Failing to Validate Imaginary Genders

A ruling on November 4th from the Manitoba Human Rights Adjudication Panel has awarded $50,000 in damages to a complainant who had accused that province’s Vital Statistics Agency of discrimination on the basis of gender identity because they were refused an option of a non binary sex designation on their birth certificate. Due to a publication ban the complainant is known only as “T.A.”

In 2013 T.A. applied for a birth certificate. They maintain that this was important because they were experiencing hardships such as homelessness and ill health and having documents that reflect their pangender identity would help “ameliorate the situation”. This request was denied because the only available options are male or female.

Adjudicator Dan Manning maintained that:

“In my view, from an objective perspective, I find the seriousness of the conduct to be the high end. Gender identity is a part of our concept of selfhood. The Director’s practice to not allow non-binary designations of sex designation and only permit male or female designations was effectively the government refusing to acknowledge T.A.’s agency and personhood”

In addition to the payout Vitals Statistics has 180 days to revise its criteria for birth certificates in Manitoba and permit a third option in the category of sex designation.

The adjudicator maintains that a sex designation on a birth certificate “is simply a reference, marker, or category that is congruent to an applicant’s gender identity”. Mr. Manning cites the incoherent concept sometimes knows as legal sex (the ability to change your sex marker from male to female or vice versa so your desire, and not reality, is reflected) as evidence that sex designation itself is nothing more than a marker for gender identity.

This is quite extraordinary as the concepts of “pangender” and “non binary” are, in fact, spiritual beliefs that have no relationship whatsoever with the biological reality of whether one is male or female.

It is impossible to define “gender identity” without relying on sexist stereotypes. This is outlined quite well in the ruling when the complainants felt gender variation is described thus:

“T.A. may choose to wear clothing typically associated with male and female gender. T.A. pursues interests which may be considered stereotypically male and others stereotypically female. “

People can wear whatever clothes they wish to in Canada. People can pursue any interest they wish irrespective of sex role stereotypes in this country because it is a free country. As silly as this ruling may seem it is quite serious. It serves as a warning to the other 7 jurisdictions in Canada that have yet to make this change and get in line with the state’s new religion

Form Letter for Candidates Re: Commercial Surrogacy

Cassandra Birch has written this important letter challenging the current political push in Canada towards commodifying women’s bodies through commercial surrogacy. Consider sending this letter to the candidates in your area.

Dear [candidate]:

I am writing to you about an issue that I have not heard addressed in this election campaign (nor in Canadian political discourse prior to it). Last year, Liberal MP Anthony Housefather introduced a private members’ bill (C-404) to amend the Assisted Human Reproduction Act. Housefather has been deceptive and disingenuous in language describing his bill, claiming it will “decriminalize” surrogacy in Canada. Surrogacy is not a crime in Canada. Altruistic surrogacy is already permitted. What this bill proposed was to allow commercial surrogacy.

In Canadian civil society, we recognize the ethical dangers of paying for organs or blood donation. Why should women’s wombs (or the use thereof) be different? Legalizing for-profit commercial surrogacy would lead to the exploitation of women and children. The state of New York opted not to pass legislation allowing commercial surrogacy due to concerns from women (1). Nations that have allowed commercial surrogacy are now experiencing ethical fallout. In Ukraine, disabled babies have been abandoned by the parents who planned to purchase them (2). Exploitation of women in India has caused the country to re-consider commercial surrogacy (3). The film “Breeders: A Subclass of Women?” by the Centre for Bioethics and Culture details the harms of surrogacy to women and children, and demonstrates that they are not limited to less developed nations (4).

So I write to you today, as I decide how to vote, to ask about your (and your party’s) position on commercial surrogacy. If this bill is re-introduced in Parliament, how would you vote? Would you stand up for the rights of women and children? Would you advocate against the commercialization of women’s bodies, and the for-profit sale of children? I look forward to knowing the policy positions of your party, and your personal convictions on the issue.

With thanks,

The Correctional Service of Canada is Engaging in a Misogynistic Social Experiment

On December 29, 2016

The CBC reported that according to a rep for Minister Ralph Goodale the policy for transgender inmates in federal corrections was going to change in respect to sexual reassignment surgery (SRS) and accommodation.

On January 9, 2017

The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) released a revised policy on transgender inmates. It made SRS easier to obtain but it did not allow fully intact men the ability to declare they are women and be accommodated in women’s prisons. Such a policy is often called “self ID”.

On January 12, 2017

Prime Minister Trudeau attended a town hall in Kingston, Ontario where he was asked a question by an audience member about transgender prisoners. The PM said that “yes” he would address it despite never having “thought” of it before.

The next day the CBC reported that Corrections had flip flopped on its accommodation policy. Meaning they would now have self ID and any man can simply say he is a women and apply for admission to a women’s prison.

7 out of the 8 men who moved from a men’s to a women’s federal prison from June 1, 2016 to December 3, 2018 are violent offenders. I obtained this information through the an info request. CSC initially denied my request citing “no records”. I appealed this and it was determined that they failed to follow the Access to Information Act.

It is bad enough that the PM is clearly caught in a lie here (how can he not know about a major policy that his gov has already announced) but the way they swooped in and foisted this on Corrections is obscene.

Prisons are serious business. They are often volatile places for both inmates and staff. It is obvious that a seismic shift was forced on the Correctional Service of Canada and little, if any, thought was given to how this would impact female inmates. Female guards are now being forced to search male prisoners. This is state perpetrated violence against women.

The justification for this madness is Bill C-16. Bill C-16 added gender identity and expression as prohibited means of discrimination in the Canadian Human Rights Act. It also amended the Criminal Code to, ironically, label this undefinable entirely bogus concept of gender identity as an identifiable group.

Bill C-16 is nothing more than a Trojan Horse designed to strip women and girls of our fundamental rights.

They won’t be stopping at prisons. If left unfettered there will be no such thing as a single sex space. Single sex spaces protect females from male violence. The lobby pushing this is well aware of that. They don’t care. What does that tell you about their moral worth?

There are thousands of important stories in the shadows of the manufactured gender trend but Canadian journalists are too indifferent to hear them.

Form Letter for Statistics Canada

This is a great form letter. It was created by a Canadian woman who gave me permission to post it here.

For anyone who may be unaware, Statistics Canada has replaced the variable of sex with the variable of self declared gender (meaning gender identity) in the recording of crime. Police departments across Canada are changing their systems to reflect this incoherent and Orwellian change.

The government have not made this information know to the public. Because of this I decided to post screenshots of emails I received last April from Statistics Canada. They can be found here.

Anyone who would like to independently verify this can contact Statistics Canada or the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police.

Please consider using this letter. Let the government know that recording male perpetrated crime as female crime is an incoherent obscenity.

If you are not Canadian you can add “I am a citizen of …… and I am watching how Canada is treating women since the implementation of Bill C-16.

Dear Statistics Canada

It is my understanding that Police Services measure and collect incident-based information into your Record Management Systems using Form C-Crime Statistics. The information on this form is collected for Statistics Canada’s Uniform Crime Reporting Survey (UCR).

The UCR was designed to measure the incidence of crime in Canadian society and its characteristics. The information is used by federal and provincial policy makers as well as public and private researchers.

The Canadian Centre for Justice Statistics (CCJS) recommended to Police Information and Statistics (POLIS) that the UCR sex category must be changed to a gender category. As of January 2019, the UCR replaced the sex category with a gender category, and redefined female to mean a subjective and changeable expression of femininity, rather than an objective and unchangeable biological (reproductive) reality.

Some feminists have been discussing this matter online, and we would like to ask that Statistics Canada answers the questions laid out below. We think that these changes are unfair to the group of people under the sex category female, and we plan to try and engage Statistics Canada in dialogue about this. We want the two sex categories, male and female, to remain on Form C-Crime Statistics (for the UCR), and we want the gender categories transgender woman, transgender man, and gender non-conforming to be added to the section person’s data on Form C.

Our questions:

1. Knowing that gender is based on undefinable, changeable characteristics, why doesn’t Statistics Canada fix Form C-Crime Statistics, person’s data, rows 7-10, to create a gender section in *addition* to the pre-existing sex category?

2. Why does Statistics Canada want to minimize, and even make it possible to erase, the one constant, universal, measurable pattern of maleness that underlies violent crime?

3. Why does Statistics Canada think that it is okay (no matter how small the population) to blame male perpetrated violence on female Canadians?

4. Why does Statistics Canada claim that these changes are a response to public demand to get away from binary gender, yet their data collection is limited to binary gender (there is no male to transgender/female to transgender category on Form C).

5. Why does Statistics Canada think that falsely categorizing male offenders as female offenders is a reflection of diversity?

6. Doesn’t categorizing male to female transgender people in the same category as female people violate the ideals set out in The Canadian Multiculturalism Act, section 3 (e) ensure that all individuals receive equal treatment and equal protection under the law, while respecting and valuing their diversity?

7. Section 15 of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms states”15. (1) Every individual is equal before and under the law and has the right to the equal protection and equal benefit of the law without discrimination and, in particular, without discrimination based on race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, sex, age or mental or physical disability.Keeping the charter in mind, how is it not prejudiced for Statistics Canada to assume that male people identifying as women, and female people, are the same category of people?

8. Does this new way of prioritizing gender identity over biological sex mean that males are being housed in women’s prisons or other correctional facilities? If so, how many males identifying as women are currently housed in female correctional facilities?

I look forward to your reply.

Sincerely,

Statistics Canada is No Longer Recording the Sex of Criminals and They Have Not Bothered to Inform the Public

I have encountered some confusion from people when discussing Statistics Canada’s recent decision to compel police departments across Canada to record the self declared gender identity of criminals in place of their sex. I suspect that the confusion stems from the fact that the Statistics Canada website does not outline this change.

The site makes it appear that they will be recording both sex and gender (what ever that is…) but they fail to mention that in respect to criminal data only gender is being recorded (as of January 2019). In an effort to, hopefully, clear this up I have posted screenshots of emails I received from Statistics Canada. I received the response below on April 25, 2019.

Anyone who would like to independently verify this should contact either Statistics Canada or the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police.

It is important to note that data from police is used to create the Uniform Crime Reporting Survey (UCR). The UCR is a necessary resource for research regarding the frequency and nature of crime in Canada. This incoherent change has rendered statistics on male and female victimization and violence unreliable.

When my head stopped spinning I sent a follow up email asking whether any announcement had been made by Statistics Canada regarding this seismic shift. I received the new sex and gender standards (sex/gender), a link to Bill C-16 (which added gender identity and expression as prohibited means of discrimination in the criminal code) and a link to Statistics Canada’s page for “gender, diversity, and inclusion statistics”. Nothing in this response (pictured below) indicates that there has been any effort on the part of the government to inform Canadians of this surreptitiously imposed destruction of crime statistics.

(*Edit: There has been some confusion expressed by people who do not understand why the above links do not constitute an announcement. The reason is, while they have announced their new definitions, they have not announced that crime is now only being recorded by self declared gender. )

I cannot imagine what is in the minds of the people who have crafted and implemented this mess. Do they really believe they can fundamentally reshape how Canadians understand sex? Do they really believe that they can erase sex as a variable in crime statistics, thereby robbing women of the ability to track male violence, and sneakily get away with it by not informing the public? It is obvious that they do. It is obvious that they are not foolish to believe they could because they have done it and few have noticed.

The Ontario Provincial Police are Recording Male Crime as Female Crime

I just received the response pictured below from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). As of January 2019 crime in Canada is no longer recorded by sex but by self declaration of gender identity. I have written about this previously and astoundingly I believe I am the only person to have written about it despite the fact that many journalists are aware of this. This is incredibly serious and has been foisted on police departments by Statistics Canada. No announcement has been made and the government website does not reflect this change.

I emailed police departments across the country in an attempt to learn whether or not they had already implemented this change. It is clear that they are all in lock step with the Canadian Association of Cheifs of Police (CACP) and have agreed to erase sex from crime statistics. Statistics Canada has collaborated with the CACP to implement this bizarre change.

I want to elaborate on why this change is incoherent and an act of profound contempt for women and girls but for now I will just share the email I sent in response to OPP’s letter. If you would like to send Mr. Eamer your thoughts you can reach him at: OPP.BusinessManagementBureau@opp.ca

Mr. Eamer,
Thank you for your response. These changes are unacceptable and you will amend any mistakes that have been made as a result of its implementation.
It’s pertinent for you to understand that this destroys the integrity of crime statistics. Police data is used to create the Uniform Crime Reporting Survey which is a vital tool for researchers. This misogynist change has rendered this data useless.
Anyone who does not understand why recording male perpetrated crime as female perpetrated crime is erroneous and vile has no place in either government or law enforcement.
It’s clear to me now why the head of Statistics Canada resigned a few years ago as a protest against government interference. This completely incoherent change has happened surreptitiously without the input or knowledge of Canadians. Such behavior is totally unacceptable in a democracy.
I can assure that women across the country are working to expose this  corruption and everyone who has crafted and facilitated it will be held accountable.

The CBC are as Corrupt as Crime Statistics in Canada

Crime Statistics in Canada are no Longer Recorded by Sex but by Gender Identity

*Update the CBC have finally reported on the discrimination case at BCHT. They have failed to mention the allegations of sexual abuse that this man is facing.

Right now there is a man , who many allege is a pedophile, using the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal to accuse female aestheticians of discrimination on the basis of gender identity because they refused to wax his genitals. He has accused 16 women in total. The CBC has not covered this story whatsoever despite the fact that it has the potential to set a precedent legally compelling women to accept sexual harassment in the workplace.

Many Canadians rely on and trust the CBC and this is why we are possibly the most ignorant people in the free world. The CBC is failing to report on the frightening ramifications of gender identity policy for women and girls occurring in this country and elsewhere. I did not learn about this mess from the media. I learned about it from brave British women on Twitter. Women who have organized to fight the encroachment of gender identity policy on their human rights and who continue to speak out despite threat of arrest for merely uttering biological facts.

The CBC wrote about the transfer of a fully intact male into a women’s federal prison as if he was Nelson Mandela being freed from Robben Island. They have failed to cover the harassment and assaults that have occurred in women’s correctional facilities as a result of the admission of serial pedophile Matthew Harks.

I have spoken to a few Canadians who are aware of this strange problem and they seem to think it is a case of virtue signalling gone off the rails. I do not agree. I will give the people at the helm of the CBC more credit than that, I do not believe they are that dense. This is no absurd error. They know exactly what they are doing.

This brings me, finally, to my main point. As of January 2019 crime statistics in Canada are no longer recorded by sex but by gender identity.

I learned of this Orwellian alteration to crime data by emailing Statistics Canada (SC). I decided to do this after a friend shared correspondence between herself and SC that I found unprofessional, mind-boggling, and inconsistent. Where SC used to record the boring old reality based variable of sex they will now be recording both sex assigned at birth and gender identity.

Statistics Canada has over 350 surveys including the vital Universal Crime Reporting (UCR) Survey which records the incidence and characteristics of crime. SC stated that seeing as the UCR was extracted from police systems it would likely record only one variable. Being a naive Canadian I did a silly thing and I assumed that the variable being recorded would remain sex. Even after reading the convoluted emails that were shared with me I was not prepared for the dogmatic reply I would myself receive from SC.

I followed up with SC because they had stated that people filling out surveys which still have a binary concept of gender “should report the sex with which they most identify” and this I found clearly muddled. Obviously, allowing people to choose which sex they are in a survey defeats the purpose of recording sex. The email also stated that there was no “framework” for the “full transition” of surveys but that some would record the sex and gender variable and some would record just one of those variables.

On the surface this may not sound like much. Gender identity is a nebulous concept the recording of which is of no statistical value whatsoever (unless you are studying cults) and the malevolence inherent to indulging this is not readily apparent. That is until you realize that the purpose of this change is not to obtain data on a imaginary marginalized group but to erase the reality of sex from statistics.

This is particularly incensing when it comes to crime. The overwhelming majority of violent crime is perpetrated by males. It is no secret that women and girls are extremely vulnerable to suffering abuse from violent men. This is why we have safeguards like single sex bathrooms (which are now under attack). The Government of Canada is destroying our ability to have accurate data on male violence against females and women’s groups are either silent or spearheading the destruction.

This is an excruciating betrayal of females from the past, present, and the future. In addition to the blatant health and safety issues that will arise if we continue to deny that sex is immutable, no girl should grow up in a world where she is taught in school that womanhood is a costume or an identity that a man can claim.

I emailed SC asking them how they are classifying the crimes of men who claim they are women. They told me they would have to contact the Crime and Justice Statistics Division. 10 days later I received an extraordinarily absurd response that was, at least, also thorough.

My previously stated assumption that the sex of criminals would still be recorded was, of course, wrong and sex has been relegated by Statistics Canada to the history bin in favor of the new science of genderbread people.

I do not believe this has been reported by any news agency in Canada. I do not believe the Government has made any attempt to alert the public to this seismic change.

I asked SC if any announcement had been made and all they sent me were links to their announcement in April 2018 that they would be creating new definitions for the variables sex and gender.

They cited Bill C-16 as the reason for this change. It was instigated by an “exercise” Statistics Canada began following the 2016 census. This change was recommended by the Canadian Centre for Justice Statistics (CCJS) to the Police Information and Statistics (POLIS) Committee. It was then endorsed by the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police (CACP) Board of Directors in November 2018. The swapping of the variable sex for gender identity in the UCR went into effect in January 2019.

Your gender identity is whatever you say it is according to the Government of Canada. You can be a woman on Monday and a man on Tuesday. You can also choose to be recorded as both male and female or neither male nor female.

I told SC that this change rendered their data set unreliable and I was told that given the “small percentage of transgender individuals” this was not expected to “impact analysis”. That is simply untrue. For instance, the number of violent female offenders is so low that even the addition of a few males would skew data. Regardless of that it is not rational to intentionally add incorrect information to statistics.

Importantly there is no way to know how many male criminals will try and take advantage of this for a plethora of reasons. In the UK right now 1 in 50 male prisoners are claiming to be women.

In Canada a father convicted of molesting his daughter can suddenly declare he is a women and be granted his request to spend his paltry sentence in a women’s prison (this horrific topic will be explored in my next post). Such crime will not be counted among the statistics of male violence against females instead it will perversely distort the figures around female perpetrated crimes.

The new definitions for gender in the UCR are as follows:

Female: Persons who publicly expresses as female in their daily life, including at work, while shopping or accessing other services, in their housing environment or in the broader community.

Male: Persons who publicly expresses as male in their daily life, including at work, while shopping or accessing other services, in their housing environment or in the broader community.

Gender Diverse: Persons who publicly expresses as neither exclusively male nor exclusively female. It includes persons who are unsure of their gender, persons who express themselves as both male and female or neither male nor female, including at work, while shopping or accessing other services, in their housing environment or in the broader community.

The sheer lunacy of this shift is, I am confident, clear to all thinking people so I have nothing more to add other than something is rotten in the state of Denmark.

Welcome to the Upside Down

Transgenderism, the belief that an incongruity in your biological sex and the sex you feel you truly are is a medical condition, has seemingly overnight gone from a fringe issue, painted as one of tolerance for a small vulnerable group, to a bizarre and perverted Orwellian nightmare.

Now we no longer merely have to accept that people can be born in the ‘wrong body’ we must change our everyday language or face accusations that we are hate criminals. Women are being robbed of the meaningful descriptors pertaining to our biology. We are being robbed of the very name “woman”. We are now labeled with names like menstrator, bleeder, non-man, and cis-gendered. It is incredibly strange and completely incoherent. It is also much more serious of an issue than most people are gauging it to be.

The Government of Canada, under the helm of Justin Trudeau, is on a mission to destroy safeguarding and corrupt statistics and the media in this country do not care. The Government’s Gender Based Analysis (GBA+) initiative is one of the most misogynist things to ever occur in the history of this country. Among other insanities they are pushing the idea that it is ‘gender’. and not sex, that results in an imbalance of power and resources in society.

This is just an introductory post and I will go into much greater detail soon. I am particularly focused on the attacks on spaces for marginalized women. Prisons in particular are a serious concern and should be front page news. Women have been assaulted in prison because violent male sex offenders were allowed to transfer into female facilities. That is completely insane.

Women in shelters and trauma programs are also being deprived of the necessary female only spaces that are vital to their recovery. Most women who require drug treatment shelters or trauma support groups have been victimized by male violence and it is unconscionable to rob them of their meager resources.

While this aspect of this total madness is my most pressing concern I am also interested in other areas, especially the medical interventions being foisted on children. If there is anything that you think I should know more about feel free to send me an email or a DM on Twitter.

Everything about this phony movement is cynical.

  • They have co-opted language used to describe people with Intersex conditions such as “assigned sex at birth”. Intersex advocates have fought for years to stop the unnecessary surgeries often performed on Intersex children. Now the transgender movement is misusing this term to promote the idea that it is sane to ‘transition’ children. This ‘transition’ includes radical interventions that interrupt normal development. This movement also frequently conflates gender identity with Intersex conditions in a bid to appear more legitimate, this is indecent and cruel.
  • Opposing gender dogma is met with accusations that to do so is to support “conversion therapy”. The truth is that most children labeled as gender nonconforming will grow up to be homosexual. They should not have their healthy development interrupted. They should not be told that they have been born in the ‘wrong body’. It is transgenderism that is the real conversion therapy.
  • Gender Studies came out of Women’s Studies and proceeded to bizarrely consume it. It’s nonsensical theories have been used to spread the misogynist notion that being a woman means identifying with stereotypes and therefore “woman” is a costume and an identity that a man can claim. In gender identity garble there is no real identifier for the half of humanity that endures sex based oppression. It has also been used to justify the dismantling of women’s resources on university campuses. Women’s centre’s are now centre’s for ‘marginalized genders’ where men who ‘perform’ their male fantasy of womanhood are constantly centred while young lesbians are asked when they are going to ‘transition’ to males. This is quite the clusterfuck.
